A person's memories and experiences are sacred to them. As onlookers, we may inquire, empathize, and learn from them; but never shall we force ourselves into them. The moment we dictate a person’s thoughts or cloud the very experiences that moulded them, we lose the true essence of who we loved in the first place. Rather than rewrite the past, our goal, as new entities, is to accept who they were and craft our own sacred, ever-lasting experiences of who they will become.
